Method
In order to make the wax paintings, I use an encaustic iron, a hotplate and other tools such as a stylus, brushes, rollers and a scraper. The beeswax is of a high quality. A colour pigment is added to the transparent wax; these pigments can also be mixed with each other and mixed with the transparent wax.
VosEncaus
This is my artist’s name for making Encaustic Art and for giving courses. The picture on the left is included in the logo. All the work on this website has been made by myself. You can find more paintings on Instagram or Etsy.

Exhibiton
In September there is a yearly art event in Leiden where I expose some of my work, and show the technique.
Here I post work regularly shortly after finishing it. Here I can see what other users appreciate. I get inspiration from seeing work by other artists. So feel free to go on instagram and respond in a subjective way to what appeals to you.
