Short Basic course Encaustic Art
Making encaustic art is surprising and inspiring, every time, both for the participants and for myself. Each piece is unique and the whole point is to make something that gives you a good feeling. You reach that goal by being open, letting yourself be surprised and grasping the possibilities. The process of creating is just as important as the result.
The basic course is 3 times 1.5 hours. You receive an introduction to the basic techniques, and every lesson you can take your own work home. The goal is to experience what it is like to work with beeswax and to get to know the materials and methods.
The cost is € 55.- per person (including materials, coffee/tea). There is room for 4-6 participants per course.

Follow-up course
During the follow-up course you go further with what you have learned from the basic course. You work with various colours and learn to use different tools, such as tissues, brushes and a stylus.
The follow-up course consists of 3 times 1.5 hours. You learn new techniques and you deepen your knowledge gained from the basic course. Naturally, you can again take your own art home each time. The goal of the course is to learn new technical skills and in addition to provide the opportunity to develop your own style.
The cost is € 55.- a person (included materials, coffee/tea). There is room for 4-6 participants per course.
Follow-up course dates
They will be choosen after the basic course.
Workshop
During the workshop you will get a short impression of the possibilities of encaustic art. You will work with the encaustic iron and at the end of the workshop you take some art pieces home. The cost is € 25.- per person (including materials, coffee/tea; minimum age 10).
